Thursday Treats

So I’m back to share some treats with you that I bought at the weekend.

It’s taken me a few weeks to visit a new shop that’s opened at Heskin Barn but I went along on Saturday to give Charlotte my support.

I first met Charlotte at Hobbycraft in Preston back in April when I went in to discuss my knitcraft social meeting.  She’s such a lovely girl, full of passion for yarn and a determined cookie too. You can find her on IG by clicking this link here ->

I’m a firm believer of this quote.....

So I went ahead a bought this cute tote bag in the prettiest of colours. It was hard to choose which colour actually cos there’s not a colour I dislike

Charlotte informed me that this is the details of the creator of the bags right here ->

And of course I slipped some uber soft baby yarn by Sirdar into my bag for a baby project I have in mind.

Be sure to pop in and show Charlotte some support in Heskin as she builds up her fabulous stock. I know she’s interested in expanding her range to include hand dyed yarn and other locally sourced yarn goodies so if you’re looking for a new stockist drop her a DM on IG.

So after a brew and a catch up with mum I picked up a copy of the new magazine out called Your Crochet & Knitting. It’s a monthly mag costing £8.99 an issue that comes with balls of yarn and a hook and needles to complete some projects in the magazine. The yarn isn’t that bad actually and although the needles are too short for me they’ll come in useful for teaching children to knit. There’s some lovely projects in the mag and a really useful beginners guide booklet. I love the Mr Men and Little Miss projects do think I’ll be making them.....another project for my list.  Ha ha ha.

Not sure I’ll buy it every month but love this issue so we’ll see.

Anyway that’s it for now.
Take care.
