The Third Meeting Of The Dropped Stitchers [The Day Andy Learned to Knit]

Hi everyone

Oooh it’s scorching today but it didn’t stop the Knitcraftsocial going ahead.

We’d got water and cordial to quench our thirst and lovely air con units to keep us cool. And a llama to oversee us too. Elaine brought some lovely refreshing melon with her. Thanks Elaine.

The concentration is real 💗

Just check out the lovely Octopus 🐙 and jellyfish making their way to Preston hospital to the neonatal ward by Chrissie the co-ordinator.

This week we were joined by Andy who wanted to learn to knit. He soon grasped the casting on process with his 8mm needles and WI wool.

And ta-dah he learned the knit stitch and then cast off and is going home to practice his skills. Amazing Andy. Well done !!

That’s all for now.
Take care
