Polka Doodles Create & Craft TV - Samples made with Twiggy & Toots Festive Fun - Part 1

Hello everybody

Seriously, how did it get to the end of the week already.  And not only that we're at the end of another month and it'll soon be the festive season.  Polka Doodles have brought out some fab new collections recently and I was lucky enough to make some samples for the show on Create & Craft on the 17th July and for the next few posts I'll be showcasing the samples I made using the Twiggy & Toots Festive Fun collection

Here is my first make using one of the fab house templates on the collection.  The instructions are easy to follow and the embellishments I've used come with the templates with the addition of a few more (the santa boots!!!) that I've used from the embellishment section on the collection.  I've even cut everything out by hand just to show you how easy it is if you haven't got a cutting machine.  In fact I don't have one and I always cut EVERYTHING out by hand.

These are the ingredients I have used:

It's Digi Choosday Day - Week 30 - Animals

Hello everybody
Welcome to another Tuesday and another Digi Choosday post and the challenge we have set you all this week is ‘Animals’.
Nikky draws the most amazing animals and nearly all the collections have an animal in there somewhere whether it be sheep, cows, pigs, unicorns, elephants, hippos, penguins, but I’ve delved into an older CD collection called ‘Paper Boutique Volume 3 Projects Galore’ for my crafty make this week.
I’ve gone back to what I do best….cutting by hand with my trusty sharp scissors.
There’s some fab templates on this CD collection and this week I’ve chosen to use the ‘Two By Two’ template.  Using this template you can make a shaped card, but I’ve decided to mix it up a little by printing out just one side of the shaped card template in a smaller size and using it on a card itself.  I’ve used blue card and brown card and torn this to make the layers of the ground and the sea and used some cloud paper from the Octavia Moonfly collection and the s…

Polka Doodles Create & Craft TV Picknix 3 Nordic Winter Samples

Hello everybody

Hope you've all had a good weekend and that you've had plenty of time to craft.  The weather hasn't been that wonderful in my neck of the woods, but that means that if time isn't spent outdoors it can be spent indoors crafting.  And not only that, it's been my birthday weekend too and I've had a good time chilling out and doing what I like to do the most....visiting family and spending time with loved ones and crafting.

So, on the 17th July the lovely Nikky from Polka Doodles was on our TV boxes on Create & Craft with two brand new collections for your delight and I was lucky enough to make some samples for the show, some of which were seen on TV.

I thought I'd split my sample makes up into a few posts and starting off with the very new Picnix 3 Nordic Winter I'd like to show you my first two makes using this collection.

These are the ingredients I have used:

Wooden Door Hanger (bought from Hobbycraft from the company Lara's Craft)…

It's Digi Choosday Day - Week 29 - All About The Girl

Hello everybody
Welcome to another Tuesday and another Digi Choosday post.
Before I get onto this week’s challenge I just wondered if you managed to watch Nikky on Create & Craft last Friday.  If not then you may still be able to catch it on the app or the website for a short time yet.  If you did see it then maybe you saw the wonderful samples from the two new collections out for Christmas.  Hope you enjoyed all the samples and the show.  I’ll be back over the next week or so on some days to show you the samples I created for the show and full details, but in the meantime onto this week’s challenge - ‘All About The Girl’.
Now there’s lots of girly things available in the collections from the Polka Doodles shop and it was really hard trying to choose just one but this week I’ve gone for the coloured digis available on the Work & Play Country Life Collection.  It’s ages since I made something with this collection so I’ve made something simple that can be recreate…
