Holiday - Sensatori Sharm El Sheikh

Hi everybody

Well for the past few weeks I've been sunning myself on a wonderful beach belonging to the Sensatori Sharm El Sheikh 5 star hotel.

We stayed there last year for the first time and decided to go again, after having visited Sharm six times previously.

We had a wonderful time and it was wall to wall sunshine every day.  Here are some pictures of the hotel and the beach.  Enjoy!!

The path that ran along the front of the complex facing the beach.  Lovely and spotlessly clean

We loved the beach and sunbathed here every day

We walked past the infinity pool every day as well.  This was attached to two other pools, one of which was an activity pool

Panoramic shots of the beach and sea.

The hotel even had an adult part too where there was a pool and sunshades and where you had to be over 18.

On the walk back from the beach part of the complex had swim up rooms which you can see in this photo and on top underneath the sails is another sunbathing area next to the infinity pool and bar area.

Great view from the buffet restaurant in the outside seating area.

And most nights we visited Casanova The Camel to feed him oranges and apples.

I'm now feeling rested and raring to go with my crafty projects and have already finished two book folds which need decorating and also a few crochet projects.  Will be updating my website very soon with lots of new projects but in the meantime I have a fair to prepare for which I'm doing at a local school fair in July.

Take care.

It's Digi Choosday Day - Week 21 - Pretty In Purple

Hello everybody

Well you may or may not have noticed I’ve had a few weeks off while I’ve been on holiday to Egypt (blog post to follow later in the week) but have come home to another wonderful challenge over at Digi Choosday.   This week’s challenge is ‘Pretty in Purple’.

I’ve chosen to combine purple with pink (one of my favourite colours) and have used the Eden Collection for the coloured digi of Eden Blossoms and papers from the collection too.  I’ve decoupaged the digi in four layers and added ink around the edges in brown and lilac and added some gems and a length of lace butterflies and finished off with touches of glitter and the word ‘DREAMS’ spelled from using the Scrabble Tiles from the Work & Play Love collection.  Just click on the Thumb Linky below to be taken to the shop.

Here is my crafty make.

These are the ingredients I have used:

  • Hunkydory 8x8 Elegant Square Card
  • Eden Blossom digi and papers from the Eden Collection
  • Ultimate Graphic paper  (for the papers)
  • Length of Butterfly lace
  • Pinflair Glue Gel
  • Purple Ink Docrafts Papermania
  • Versa Magic ink in Sahara Sand
  • Stickles Glitter Glue – Thistle
  • Crystal Sticker Cluster Gems in purple and pink
  • Scrabble Tiles from the Work & Play 9 Love & Kisses Collection

I can’t wait to see your creations this week.  And remember, it’s not just for cards, you can create ANYTHING you want from home d├ęcor to cards, just remember to follow the rules listed in the blog.

Take care
