The Making Of A Zentangle Card

Last year I visited a craft show with my mum and was inspired by a stall selling Zentangle products.

I bought a few books and some paper and also some pens and set about creating some doodles.

Since then I have created some designs in black and white and some colour which I have laminated to be used as bookmarks which are now available on the website

I thought I would take the time to show you how I created a recent custom order.

I measured out a piece of card to fit a slimline card.
With my black pens I then created a border.

And then I started doodling out a design in pencil and then outlined it with a thicker black pen.

I then decided on some colour using some acrylic drawing inks by Cosmic Shimmer in pink, red, orange and green and once I had coloured and done some shading I added pearl gems to the centres of the flowers.  And once I had finished the Zentangle of the letters I then matted the white card onto some co-ordinating green card and put it onto the card.

And this is the finished card.

Hope you have enjoyed looking at my photos and if you would like to order a one of a kind Zentangle design name card please make contact through our website HERE for prices and to discuss your requirements.
